Harare – Retired footballer Tinashe Nengomasha and his ex-wife, Samantha Mtukudzi, found themselves back in court on Friday, to resolve a stalemate over the valuation of their Hillside property.
The dispute arose as part of their ongoing divorce proceedings, which were finalized last year.
Nengomasha had sought an urgent court order to prevent Samantha from selling the property, alleging that she had significantly undervalued it.
As per the divorce settlement, the couple was instructed to sell the Hillside property and divide the proceeds equally.
However, the disagreement over the property’s worth has hindered this process.
In addition to the property dispute, Nengomasha has also accused Samantha of neglecting their two minor children.
He claimed that she has not been fulfilling her child maintenance obligations, despite being ordered to contribute US$50 per child per month.
Samantha, on the other hand, has been granted access to the children every weekend, during public holidays, and half of each school holiday.
