Firm Faith prepares Zambia launch for “Munesimba”  regional tour

Lusaka, Zambia – Fresh off sold-out album launches in Harare and Bulawayo, Zimbabwe’s award-winning a cappella gospel ensemble Firm Faith is poised to bring its transformative harmonies to Zambia in May 2025.

The group will debut its latest album, Munesimba, at Lusaka’s Blessed Center on May 3, collaborating with Zambian vocal powerhouse The Promise for a night of spiritual celebration.

Founder Marshal Matsilele confirmed that the  nonprofit, self-funded group will embark on its first full-capacity regional tour.

“This marks a milestone in our journey,” he said.

“At our Harare launch, we vowed to share Munesimba across Southern Africa.

“By God’s grace, Zambia is just the beginning,” added Matsilele.

Breaking from tradition, the entire 20-member team will travel together—a rare feat for the group, which typically tours with smaller delegations due to funding constraints.

“This isn’t about financial success but sacrifice,” Matsilele emphasized.

“We urgently appeal to individuals and corporates to join our mission.

“Support will fuel our vision to unite Southern Africa through gospel music.”

The plea follows a January fundraiser in Harare where the group sought a minibus and sound system.

Though pledges were made, no commitments materialized.

“A vehicle would transform our outreach,” Matsilele shared.

“Yet we trust God’s timing as we labor in His vineyard,” Matsilele

Formed in 2005 and crowned champions of Harare’s Got Talent in 2012, Firm Faith has released nine albums.

Their Lusaka concert (6–9 PM) promises an evening of unity, blending their signature harmonies with The Promise’s vibrant rhythms.
