Harare – Chart-topping ZimDancehall artist Nutty O has announced his immediate split from manager Diana Elisha Nheera, his right-hand woman throughout his meteoric rise in Zimbabwe’s music industry.

The sudden management shake-up comes despite what both parties have described as a highly successful working relationship.

Nheera, who also represents other A-list artists, played a pivotal role in building the Nutty O brand since they first connected in 2018.

In an official statement, the musician confirmed the split while announcing Don Ray as his new manager:

“We wish to inform the entire music fraternity and stakeholders that Diana Elisha Nheera is no longer part of Nutty O’s management team with immediate effect.

“We take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to Diana for her invaluable contributions to the Nutty O brand during her tenure. Her dedication, expertise and passion will forever be cherished.”

The statement continued: “We appreciate the commitment she demonstrated and wish her success in her future endeavors. In the interim, Don Ray will solely be responsible for all Nutty O’s bookings, enquiries and business matters.”

Industry insiders note the pair’s professional relationship began when Nutty O was still under Byron Kabaira’s management.

Nheera initially handled marketing and branding for the ABX label in 2018 before taking a more prominent role in guiding the artist’s career.

The announcement has sparked intense speculation across Zimbabwe’s entertainment circles, with many wondering what prompted the sudden separation.

Neither party has revealed whether creative differences, business decisions, or personal factors led to the split.

As one of Zimbabwe’s most bankable music stars, all eyes are now on how this management change might affect Nutty O’s upcoming projects and the direction of his flourishing career.

Meanwhile, Nheera continues to manage other top-tier talent in the competitive Zimbabwean music scene.
