Harare — Ownega Travels, the Zimbabwean travel agency renowned for helping Africans relocate safely and efficiently, has once again been recognized for its excellence, this time at the Honourable Cabinet Summit held last Saturday.
Held at Rainbow Towers Hotel, the event convened influential business leaders from across Africa.
Honourable Cabinet Summit Awards celebrates excellence and leadership across all 54 African nations, recognising individuals and organisations that inspire and shape the continent’s future.
The evening also featured performances by artists including Trevor Dongo.
Ownega Travels received the Excellence in Customized Travel Itineraries Award, adding to its gold triumph at the Zimbabwe CEOs Network Awards last month.
The accolade underscores the agency’s growing reputation as one of Africa’s most trusted relocation and travel support agencies.
Since its founding by co-directors Arnold Tawanda Milos and Edmore Tatenda Chitambo in June 2023, and official registration in Zimbabwe in April 2024, the agency has quickly established itself as a reliable bridge for Africans seeking structured pathways to global opportunities, particularly in Dubai.
Customer service and sales executive, Prudence Muvangwa, who represented Ownega Travels at the Honourable Cabinet Summit and received the award on behalf of the company, reflected on the significance of this milestone.

For years, Zimbabweans seeking opportunities in Dubai have been targeted by scams ranging from fake job offers and resold visas to identity theft and financial fraud.
Unscrupulous middlemen and rogue recruiters have exploited the desperation of job seekers, often leaving them stranded or in debt.
