Mutoko – Thousands of music lovers flocked to Jiddim Night Club over the weekend to witness an electrifying performance by dancehall sensation Boom Beto.

The event marked yet another milestone for the club, which has become a hub for live entertainment in the area.  

Boom Beto’s performance left fans in awe, following in the footsteps of Ras Caleb, who recently drew hundreds of revelers to the same venue.  

After the performance, Boom Beto toured the newly established Jiddim Studios, where renowned producer Samcris is spearheading efforts to boost the local music scene.  

“Mutoko was amazing and I am encouraged by the crowd that came for the show,” said Boom Beto in an interview. 

“A special thanks to producer Samcris, who has been tirelessly working to ensure artists can record on the Jiddim Riddim platform.”  

Boom Beto also praised the club’s management for offering free recording opportunities to local artists. “

“There’s so much untapped talent, but many lack the resources to record. This studio is a blessing for the people here,” he said.  

As part of its initiative to uplift talent, Jiddim Studios has recorded 10 artists for free since Monday, fulfilling its promise of a week of complimentary sessions.  

The studio’s Jiddim Riddim project has already featured big names such as Killer T, Blot, Silent Killer, Ras Caleb, T Makwikwi, Kabhidha, Hwindi President, Kholangan, and Libho.  

Jivas Mudimu, the owner of Jiddim Night Club, expressed joy at the overwhelming support.

“It is a humbling experience I tell you, the way people came to support us over the weekend was amazing,” he said.

Local resident Naison Muteka hailed the venue’s impact on the community. “Jiddim has become a powerhouse here in Mutoko. 

Even older folks are talking about it it has revived activity here in Makaha,” he said.  

Visitors from as far as Mutoko Centre also shared their excitement. “Other nightclubs in Mutoko Centre are empty because of this place. Jiddim is a vibrant entertainment hub that makes you feel alive,” said one reveler.  

Jiddim Night Club and Studios continue to make strides in promoting music and entertainment, solidifying their position as a key player in Mutoko’s cultural scene.
